"Amazing view from the lobby. Love the footbath off from the lobby while wait for check in/shuttle. Very convenient with the ropeway/pirate boat access. Very clean and staffs takes care of you before you even ask in some occasion. Both breakfast and dinner buffet, AMAZING!! lots of choices and tasty food. Chef's box for dinner is just too beautiful to eat. Down side is not much to do in the area. Also as it's some what facing the street, you can hear the cars/bus passing by while trying to relax in the private tub on the balcony. "

"The Hotel grounds are beautiful. The staff were incredible. I booked this to celebrate getting engaged earlier that day. The staff was very kind and just as happy as we were. I am very confused by the negative reviews. This hotel was incredible. We did the set course dinner and it was great. Many unique foods we never would have tried. The breakfast buffet was great. I would recommend staying 2 nights here to fully enjoy the amenities. 10/10 if we come back go Hakone we will stay here again."

"We stayed at Nikko Style Nagoya for a few days and honestly, it was hard to say goodbye. The room was clean, modern, and—huge bonus—no carpet, which automatically earns 3 stars in my books. Add in the fantastic staff, stylish design, and thoughtful amenities, and it's an easy 5-star experience. My daughter absolutely loved the bunk beds in our room—she claimed the top bunk immediately and was genuinely sad to leave. It’s little touches like that that make a place feel like more than just a hotel. This was my first visit to Nagoya, and the hotel helped make it one to remember. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and it left me already thinking about coming back. If you’re heading to Nagoya and want a comfortable, well-designed home base, this is the one."

"We really enjoyed our stay in one of the four top floor suites on the top floor with a nice view of the surrounding hills. The room was incredibly spacious by Japanese standards (actually by any!) and we enjoyed making our own breakfasts and the various welcome drinks in our large fridge. Very friendly staff who gave us a good recommendation for a reasonably priced nearby restaurant to enjoy the local Hida beef (ubiquitous on menus though we never saw a cow!)."

"For North American travellers, this property is much better than its rating. It is a beautiful property about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from Nagoya station. Local train station from the hotel is about a 5 minute walk. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Most spoke enough English to help us navigate the local sights and train system. Many restaurants and stores in the area. It took us about 10 minutes to get from the hotel to Nagoya castle. Very highly recommended "
