"There is a lot to like about this hotel-the location and the lobby and courtyard. It was so nice to be able to pick up food and then sit in the courtyard. That being said, it is an old hotel with few recent improvements. Our room was big but dated. We had a toilet that didn’t stop running. The shower was small and it just didn’t feel fresh. Would I stay here again? Absolutely if the price was right. But it’s not the latest and greatest if you’re looking for that. There was a fridge in the room...

"The location of the hotel was perfectly for us. We didn’t like the gap between the A/C AND WINDOW & also the shower needs a door to not make a lot of mess when ppl shower. And furniture needs an upgrade also the coffee maker."

"Had an amazing stay at the Refinery Hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, the rooms are surprisingly spacious, and the hotel has so much character. I especially loved staying in a beautiful prewar building—a refreshing change from the sea of uninspired mid-century architecture scattered throughout Midtown. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and everyone I encountered was professional and welcoming. Overall, a wonderful stay and a hotel I’d happily return to."
