"Clean room and quiet"

"Rooms are very clean and parking was not a problem. I checked out at 4:45 am to be at Good Samaritan Hospital at 5am. Due to a change in the schedule, I was left without a room at 5am. I decided to return to the hotel and they were kind enough to reactivate my key and check-out at 11am. Customer service is excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel and I will be returning."

"The floor was covered in chicken and goose droppings because there were no fences and many chickens and geese ran around, even pooping in front of your room. The outdoor hot tub was completely unusable, and the tub was full of leaves, mud, and dust. It looks like no one has ever cleaned it.I messaged the host on the day I checked in saying there was no hot water outside, but they didn't reply until the next day when I was about to check out."

"This home is in such a beautiful setting. There are neighbors but you feel pretty secluded with the artul gate and fencing. The kitchen is well stocked and there are many lovely details inside and out. Entry and exit were seamless, and we only wished our schedule had allowed to spend more time lounging here! The chairs are perfect for staring up at the canopy above. "

"Pros:The property is located in a desirable neighborhood close to downtown Los Gatos, a beautiful and upscale neighborhood just off the highway 9. The host(s) were friendly and allowed early check-in.The property allows dog(s), and I was able to bring my 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that are well-behaved and trained. Karen enjoyed meeting my dogs.CONS:The photos are a fake story. In Reality, the grounds are not well kept & property overall needs updating. It is easy to slide down the stairs to enter the property because there is a lot of brush debris. Not kid, elderly or disabled friendly property.It smells of must, possibly a black mold smell. The smell is strong and hits your senses immediately upon opening the door. I opened the windows to air the place out, but it returns fiercely when the windows are shut. I would NOT recommend this place if you have allergies to dust, mold or pollen. It is NOT a clean place to stay. It's extremely dusty, ant and bug traps all around the interior of unit. Dirty windows and window sills. I was informed by Host Humphrey that I will receive a cleaning refund. He NEVER refunded. Bad Business! The tub was filthy like it had not been cleaned in months. The toilet had personal body hair on the edge of the toilet rim. I didn't sit down on the toilet and wore slippers around the house. I had to WASH THE TUB AND TOILET MYSELF. I wore slippers in the shower because it was too gross to put my feet in the tub."

"What a beautiful property! So enjoyed it all but especially the fireplace, sauna and inviting back patio. It was fun taking my morning walks to the Hakone Gardens, enjoying the beautiful Saratoga Creek and quaint downtown area along the route. The hosts were accommodating and spoiled us! I look forward to returning!"
