I’ve been an avid traveller for 40 years, stayed in plenty of top hotels, and this place is easily in my top five of all time. "The place is gorgeous and very serene. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It's very small so you feel like you're the only people here, which is nice. There are only specific times for check in so make sure you know that ahead of time. We had trouble checking in because our reservation was not in the Collelungo system. But I'm not sure if that was Expedia or the hotel. All worked out and we loved our stay. Highly recommend. "

"This is a stunning hotel with the most beautiful gardens and views. The quirky original elevator takes you back in time. The staff are very friendly & the breakfast was great. There is a shuttle bus service to & from the city gates as well as the view point at Michelangelo square, which we used several times during our week long stay. It’s a great place for people wanting to relax when not exploring the surrounding countryside. But not great for children. Highly recommend L "
