The kids loved the addition of the ping pong table and dart board and loved the pool, but would’ve liked it even more if it had been heated. Then I’m not sure we would have been able to leave. "

This country villa is spacious enough for the 8 of us, with individualized AC in bedrooms, and heater controls on each floor. The kitchen is well equipped and large for multiple cooks, dining space is great, and the balcony accomodates our Happy Hour (when it was sunny). The pool at the upper terrace is big but the cooler climate did not permit us much swimming. The outdoor space has nice terraced landscaped. Great backyard views of Tuscan hills and vineyards. We saw wild boars, deers, and a fox.
Villa location is great, as it is a great base for all day trips to nearby Etruscan/Roman cities/towns in Tuscany, and there are many to explore. So many nearby great Chianti Classico wineries. Downtown Castellina and Panzano are about 10 minutes away, and are full of local shops and
restaurants. People are very, very friendly.
The 0.5 mile gravel driveway is steep at certain sections. May consider a SUV rental for high clearance. "
