"Wow! What a beautiful property, the pictures looked great but it is way better! I was very impressed with the cleanliness and functionality, spacious rooms and comfy bedrooms with wonderful wooden shutters that block out all the daylight if you wanted a lie in. The view from the terrace is stunning, gorgeous sunsets and bright shining stars at night with magical fireflies dancing in the garden after sunset. You could see Deer and listen to the songs of the birds and bees. It is a great location for exploring the Chianti region and further afield. 20 min drive to Siena. We used the train from Poggibonsi to Florence, Pisa and Lucca to save parking and ZTL areas in the cities. Castellina, only a 5 min drive away has a good area of shops, a lovely deli and some great restaurants. Communication with Daniele was very good and we were brought fresh towels and bed linen for the second week. I would absolutely recommend this property. Thank you Daniele, and your mum. Oh, and the Vineyard practically next door, Poggio Amorelli, does a lunch and wine tasting that is both enjoyable and delicious."
