"Quiet, peaceful a great place to relax. A walk on the beach takes you to shopping and other places to eat. Our meal at Farol was excellent and as another bonus is breakfast each morning served with the view of the ocean."

"Friendly staff, quiet area, adjacent to golf course. Recent renumbering of the course meant that tee #1 was no longer adjacent to he hotel. The driving range was a short walk but the clubhouse and first tee were better accessed by car if carrying clubs."

"Loved: the location, cozy bed, lg room & lg deck with sea view, elegant fully loaded breakfasts in a lovely ocean view room, pool & garden grounds, parking, excellent staff, close restaurants and close proximity to town and Sentra if you have a car. Of concern, as mentioned before, is the condition of the carpets. Be aware there is some noise from road in front if you want to sit outside. "

"The property said it has three restaurants but only one was open. They offered a vegan option that was "Tuna tataki"... The reception/concierge staff were generally rude and unhelpful. If you want to order food to the hotel because they only have one restaurant, don't worry they will only charge you 30 euros to bring outside food into the hotel."

"Hotel sited amidst multi-storey blocks in urban situation. Some noise from traffic and building construction. Cheap transport into Lisbon area. Hotel offered free hourly taxi service to local station on weekdays. Large supermkt within short walking distance. View of bay but no local beach. Outstanding staff, good English spoken, helpful, friendly, welcoming, ready to assist on any issue. Nearby National Park worth a tour. Highly recommended for adults, not much to do for children. "
