"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

"Lovely setting, well equipped house, especially for us with baby and toddler. The only let down was the weather! We still managed to use the pool. Pool setting is excellent."

"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"We stayed 11 nights at the gite. Great for exploring the area around Carcassonne, Albi, Narbonne, etc. Beautiful surroundings, extremely quiet (a must for me) with a nice pool and friendly horses who will occasionally visit you over the fence (carrots are appreciated). The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. The nearest grocery store is about 20 mn away so you do need to plan a bit."

"The only compromise is the small toilet and shower room which is in the bedroom, making privacy difficult. A washing machine would be welcome however Simon and Martina kindly let us use their machine. Overall a good stay and happy to recommend this accomodation"

"The wine cottage was the perfect home base for our stay in the south of France and exploring the rich history of the area. The cottage is just as advertised with two quiet bedrooms, two full baths, two full kitchens and plenty of space to relax (all fully air conditioned). The outdoor space with pool was ideal for sipping wine after our many day trips. Groceries were just a short car ride away from either Homps or Lezignan-Corbieres. "This cottage is a gem!! The property is very well kept, clean and comfortable. It is very spacious with lots of room for being together, as well as spaces to get away by oneself. There is a wonderful balcony off the sitting room that is shady with a comfortable outdoor sofa and chairs to enjoy, which we did. The owner has added many personal touches to add to your comfort--extremely comfortable seating in the sitting room; bed and bathroom linens very large and of good quality. It was VERY hot...

"Very peaceful property, stylishly decorated and with a lovely large garden with many seating areas, hammocks and pool. The house was very well equipped and, as keen cooks, this was perfect as we could visit local markets during the day and then cook feasts in the evening. Esther was a very helpful host, giving good information about the local area and kindly supplying us with logs for the lovely fire in the living room"
