After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"Nicely renovated house in one of the most beautiful villages in the Minervois. Great to have two bathrooms along with the two bedrooms. Well equipped and everything working. The owner lives close by and was very helpful throughout, providing wood for the fireplace during a cool spell. Charming terrace with views for warmer days. Highly recommended."

"We spent 14 very relaxing days in the house of Severin and Frederic. The main house as well as the "chicken coop" have been prepared with great attention to detail and great effort. The kitchen is certainly expandable (dishwasher, full oven) but still absolutely sufficient, especially since outside a grill is available. "Der Aufenthalt litt unter Dauerregen, wofür die Gastgeber natürlich nichts konnten. Nur dafür ist das Appartment zu klein und unkomfortabel eingerichtet, das Terrassendach undicht und die Terrasse somt nicht nutzbar, die Sitzgelegenheiten unbequem und zum Trocknen der Sachen keine Hängemöglichkeiten. Die Küche auch nur äußerst sparsam bestückt. Ansonsten toller Garten, alles sauber, herrliche Vorgebirgslandschaft. Bei Sonnenschein sicher alles etwas positiver."

"We werden aangenaam ontvangen door de lieve gastvrouw ook al waren we vroeger dan afgesproken. Er was een vlotte communicatie. We genoten ook van de aangeboden verse eitjes. Het huisje is praktisch ingericht en de nodige voorzieningen om er een fijn verblijf van te maken zijn aanwezig. Echt een plek om tot rust te komen. Dankjewel voor de fijne dagen."
