"The front desk staff were amazing. However, the lady tending the bar was extremely rude and gave off an uncomfortable vibe. I moved away from the DMV area several years and travel into the area annually for work. During my stay I decided to meet up with an old friend at the bar. It was around 9:30pm -10pm when I sat down at the bar. The bartender looked in my direction and blatantly ignored me. I waited patiently at the bar for 5-10mins until my friend arrived. "The hotel was very clean, close to the Smithsonian, easy to access the metro. I think there should have been restrooms closer to the bar area. Also, the elevators were far from our room"

"There was a black out in the area during our stay. The hotel staff did their best to fix the situation so the elevators were back up and running. They served free coffee and donuts. They couldn’t have been nicer. The situation was out of their control and it was Easter Sunday. I would stay here again,"
