From the moment we arrived in our room, we were disappointed with the hotel. The room has a visible layer of dust on the furniture and fresh stains on the carpet. We weren’t even sure if the sheets had been changed from the last guest, as there were hairs in the bed. It was gross. For a Hilton property, we were very astonished.
We had to keep called the front desk daily because housekeeping would not refill or change basic things (towels, etc) and the ice bucket never once got a new bag (we were there for six days).
When we talked to the front desk about the cleaning issues in the room, the staff just said, “Yah, that sounds right.”
The hotel isn’t shocked by the negative responses from their guests, but they aren’t fixing things that are off-brand. It’s too bad, because the location is great, but the hotel stay left much to be desired.
