"Longer walk to heart of City than anticipated."

"A business trip, so didn’t actually as much time in the hotel as I’d have liked in order to explore it. But the breakfast experience and interactions with the staff were all really good. Very comfortable room, surprised there were no USB sockets - but that tiny detail aside - very happy. The parking option is ideal. Located right next to a multi-level car park, once you register your car at check-in, the access to come and go is automatic, no faffing around and there’s access from the car park directly to the hotel, so no lugging bags through inclement weather. The pricing for this hotel is generally above what I pay for work trips, and in this case I’d cashed some point to get a better price. Will be giving it serious consideration next time I’m in Bristol."

"Comfortable stay and easy quiet arrival late night checkin. The staff were very professional and accommodate complimentary checkout until 12 midday to cover my private teams video call. Breakfast was lovely and good range with decent gym and equipment. Quiet room with sofa. "

"As regulars, we love the setting and architectural splendour here. The spa is good. The food, however, is disappointing. Breakfast could be improved with quality bread and hotter cooked food. Pastries quite limited and fruit quite basic. We recommend cooking some bacon to crispy, replacing the bread which is the worst we’ve had in a hotel. The stunning lilies in the reception need care as pollen was dropping-it stains any material it contacts "
