It's a very old structure though, there is no ramp at the entrace, so it wasn't easy to bring the buggy up the little staircase every time. "Great location for Brighton. Overlooked the Marina and on an easy bus route into the city. Loads of bistros and other foodie places very close at reasonable prices. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was tight, but as this was a short stay, not an issue. Overall, very pleased with this stay"

"We’ve stayed at the Old Ship several times, as it tends to be the best value for money. We love the central sea front location (and are prepared to put up with a bit of city noise… the complimentary ear plugs are a nice touch), sea views are well worth paying a bit extra for, and we even enjoy the 100 year old lift …. on the occasional time it arrives before we opt for the stairs instead (it is described optimistically as ‘a bit slow’). Very pleasant staff too. Looking forward to our next stay. "
