"Excellent location with a unique and beautiful building at sea front and staffed with helpful and friendly employees from reception to housekeeping. Mr. Cesar at the breakfast dining stands out as a very helpful and welcoming professional person."
"Room was ok but the carpet had a massive bulge in it which my baby kept tripping over. Staff at breakfast didn’t seem too with it. Not very approachable and grouped together to chat and help their self tea/coffee leaving guests queued behind them."
"Overpriced for a basic hotel in a dumpy area. The lack of no actual employees to communicate with is horrible. All issues you are subjected to chat Ai. Will never stay here again."
"I stayed one knight for business. So close from the Brighton station. My room was large enough and cosy. I was very pleased that a hotel clerk was able to recognise me when I came back to pick up my luggage I had left after check out. I would say you can’t expect a lovely breakfast."
"Great funky hotel, retro hotel in beautiful building, I absolutely loved this hotel, great shopping and I could see the sea from my balcony, close to everything, shops, pier, bus stop, 15/10, loved loved everything."
"We were aware that the hotel was being refurbished however we were not expecting it to be as dark and dingy and unwelcoming. There were buckets on the stairs for the leaks from the ceiling, plaster falling off walls, a dangerous old lift…. There were only 2 useable sockets in the room which meant the fridge had to be unplugged. There was no hot water for our shower for about 15 minutes. The breakfast for some reason was served a long way away from reception in the ballroom which was fully laid...
"We were disturbed most of the night by the background humming of other guests' bathroom fans and gurgling of water coming into our basin. We would like to have had help with the lack of reception on the TV but unfortunately did not receive any reply to our request. Room okay with some nice furnishings."
