I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat."

"I stayed for one night during the June 2026 heatwave. It was self check in, so no staff on the premises. The building is old, with narrow corridors and stairs. There is no air conditioning. The room I stayed in was like a sauna. I would suggest providing each room with a fan. I stayed in a similar property earlier in the week and the hotel had provided each room with a fan. This is essential in extreme hot weather. I can honestly say this is the worse night I have ever had in a hotel/guest...
