"Everywhere was spotlessly clean, only issue was un emptied bin and no toilet roll but was quickly dealt with, staff were extremely helpful and polite, breakfast is made to order, we had cooked so cant offer any guidance on the continental but what i saw looked lovely, fresh fruits,yogurts,various breads,cereals ect.. "Room was lovely we took advantage of £12 upgrade offered a couple of days before . Roll top bath a real treat ! Staff lovely and sent birthday card and vouchers for a drink as was husbands birthday . Bar / lounge are lovely . Didn’t have breakfast as felt it was very expensive at almost £25 per person ! Excellent bakery just 5 mins walk away with fantastic pastries / sandwiches and coffee which was perfect ! Rye lane bakery . 20 walk into Newcastle the quayside which was perfect . Would stay at hotel Again ! "

"The hotel and room was very clean, with a nice quiet relaxed atmosphere, staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, alot of fresh food and drink choice at breakfast. Swimming pool and spa area very clean and relaxing. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend to others"

"An ideal stay for a short trip to Newcastle. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was as expected for what we paid: spacious and well laid out with tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. It was a bit dated, but that didn’t affect our stay. The pool was run-down and not worth the extra £5 to be able to use."
