"Nice ryokan hotel located at the hillside with great view. A simply cosy dinner was served in room and the breakfast buffet was great in main dining area. The condition is run down but most part of the premise is well maintained. Some parts e.g. kids playroom and the indoor onsen are not clean. "

It also had private onsens which were very well maintained giving us a great way to experience onsens! Having said that, I do think that having cold milk vending machines would definitely add to the onsens experience. "

It is easily accessible from the highway Amand is very well situated close to the mountain road leading to the amusement park, the safari and Yufuin. "
