"Excellent property with fantastic sea views. Very co-ordial staff and helpful. Overall we had a fantastic stay at the resort. The maisonnette where we stayed at, had breathtaking views of the Beppu bay especially during sunrise. It also had private onsens which were very well maintained giving us a great way to experience onsens! Having said that, I do think that having cold milk vending machines would definitely add to the onsens experience. "

"It fits with the acomodation fee. Basically, there is no staff. Showers and toilets are shared with other guests. Enjoy local spa around the guest house. Do not expect anything. You will be satisfied if you think that is for just sleeping."

"Great value for the price; would book again. It's a bit old but our Japanese style room was large and comfy. The staff was very nice. We did not have the chance to try the onsen but the free breakfast was delicious."

It is easily accessible from the highway Amand is very well situated close to the mountain road leading to the amusement park, the safari and Yufuin. "
