"The property was beautiful. We had a separate apartment a few doors down and 3 floors up. There is no elevator and the stairwell is not lit. The hostess who showed us to our room did not explain the heating system, shower, heated (but not) towel rack. The living area was a hodge-podge of furniture and colors. An area rug would have added a lot 0f warmth and tied it together. It was not a good value for the money. "

"This was a great place to stay for a couple nights. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and safe, and sparkling clean. Our small room had a private deck with a gorgeous view over the countryside. We walked everywhere. The Melzi botanical gardens and historic lakeside villa, were our favorites - beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed the two ancient churches in town. The service provided was exceptional, the ladies Joy and Letizia went out thier way to help us in everything we needed. They had a shuttle service which picked us up from the city and dropped us back to the hotel which was a huge help. "The view is amazing. The apartment was spacious and had parking right out front. If you have time, take advantage of the main hotel lakeside area and indoor pool/spas. Check in is at the main hotel. Use that address for GPS. It would be nice if they provided and couple of bottles of water and coffee to make in the room. "

"The location was perfect to visit the various cities/towns on Lake Como. The ferry/port is located less than 15 minutes walk, same with a series of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. If you're into cycling, as I am, this is a great place to base yourself. Bring your own bike or rent from a location within walking distance. I look forward to coming back. Family run and friendly staff. "
