"DON’T BOOK HERE. With the $20 parking fee you have to pay at check in, could upgrade yourself to the HILTON! Thomas was very rude and argumentative. No breakfast included EITHER. Then why post breakfast and parking included ? "

"Overall, excellent choice for a hotel stay. The staff is friendly, and our room was cleaned everyday. The breakfast is decent and the hotel is clean. The location of the hotel is pretty good as well. It is minutes from Mission Beach and Sea World. Close to shopping and a few fast food restaurants. The reason for 4 stars is only because parking is not included with the room. It is $25/day. In my opinion, there is no good reason to charge for parking in their own lot."

"This was a mother/daughter trip in March 2026. I had never been to San Diego before and had no idea what to expect on any level. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this property was not only wonderfully, centrally located, but relatively isolated in its position on the wharf. We didn't have the budget for frills and this property was just what worked for us, and I would definitely return to this property. "

"Location is great. About 8-12 min drive yo places like La Jolla, Old Town, Little Italy, SD zoo. Double bed rooms are a bit compact, but we didn’t mind considering we spent most of our time exploring. "

"The door to the room would not completely close, gap all aroundd the door. The A/C & Heater didn’t work properly. The pool needed cleaning. They had a pretty good select for Breakfast, except the eating area was cramped. Not sure if we would stay again."

"We had a great stay for our family of 3. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. We had an amazing room with a view of the pool and beach. It was great to have access directly to the boarwalk from the pool area. The location was pretty un-beatable. Lots of restaurants as well as a grocery store a block away. We took Uber many times from our hotel and pickup was always super easy (next to the fire station). Rooms were clean and bright and very comfortable. Staff was always feiendly and helpful. Breakfast was a plus. The waffle maker was the highlight but there were plenty of other options as well. Pool was heated as well so that was great. Other families were staying as well and eveyone seemed to have enough space to enjoy their time. They even provide towels and toys to enjoy at the beach. The big plus was being able to leave lugguge after checkout because we had a late evening flight. They allowed us to stay and use the pool and restrooms until we had to leave which saved us a lot of headache. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend."
