"(From my original Google Maps review) I wasn't going to review this hotel, but it was very relaxing. Humphreys Half Moon Inn is secluded in a boat marina on Shelter Island. You will take a little drive but not too long. First thing we enjoyed was the peace and quiet even though a live concert was going on. The rooms were comfortable feeling. We had queen beds.The bed was a little firm for us. We like ours much softer. It was very awkward to get to the bathroom since the bed was so close to...

"The hotel was great! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! The room. Was clean, bedsheets crisp, white and mattress was comfortable! Bathroom was clean and towels were white, not off white and fresh! The free breakfast was very basic, however...it is free! The only issue is that you can here through the floors very clearly! Still a great hotel! Will definitely stay again! "

"The place is clean. It is right across the street from the harbor. It was actually a fairly quiet area. Lots of restaurants nearby. At night, I asked if they have coffee. The front desk guy said YES! He opened the breakfast room and I got 2 coffees free of charge. Tremendous value compared to nearby hotels."

"All fine here, hotel is good for families. Nice enuf rooms and beds, cramped bathroom but overall solid. Charging $27 for parking is absurd, resort fees and the like, the best part is that it backs up to a nice mall w lots of good places you can walk to. "

"Loved everything about our condo. Location, condition. Downfall was that the pool was closed for our entire stay except for last day. Was one of our must haves on our lists. The other recommendation to add to items in condo would be broom and dustpan. If in area, will be back!"
