Love this hotel. Affordable on dog beach and I can bring my dogs! That’s really what I want most. Is it luxury? No. But I am so happy to have a nice place to stay on dog beach in OB, they even have a place to wash your dogs. beautiful views and all of OB beach “downtown” within 10-20 min walk. (fantastic breakfast place on property) .

Old facility, very dated. They do a great job of keeping up on it. Rooms are always clean and the staff is fantastic, we stay here a couple times a year. The best thing about the place is location, walk out your door, around the corner, and you are on Dog Beach. Another big plus is the dog run behind the facility, open the back door and let them out to go do their business and most the time there are friends out back they get to hang around with. Walking distance to so many places. We are vegetarians, so right down the street from Litickers Mexican Grill, and Plant Power, We used to stay at Dana by The Bay, nice place, but not right around the corner from Dog Beach.
