"We stayed at Carminas for a family vacation together and had a wonderful time!! The house and property is beautiful and spacious, a great balance of open spaces to spend time together while giving everyone a room of their own. We also did a catered dinner together which was so special and unique (and delicious!). Our only regret is we didn’t have the time to stay longer! 10/10 recommend this home."

"We enjoyed our stay in Rio Nido - the house suited our needs well for a couple and two singles for a weekend. All the amenities were provided. Check-in and -out were simple and effortless.There are a lot of stairs to access the property, and more inside - which was not a surprise based on the photos, but something to take into consideration if you have elderly folks or some bad knees, and we had both. The driveway is exceptionally steep, and we made one aborted attempt to park there - because if we opened the back hatch all our cargo would have emptied itself down the hill - so we just parked across the road in the designated area and it was a non-factor other than needing to carry our luggage up the stairs next to it.The layout of the home was nice, with a BR on the main level and two more upstairs, each with a private en-suite bath. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed other than a paring knife, and we loved the deck off the living area for enjoying our meals.The Rio Nido Roadhouse burgers are no joke - best we’ve had in a while!The only reasons for docking a star? 1: A very moldy shower curtain in our upstairs bath2: A lack of window coverings in what we consider private spaces. Like the bathroom or bedroom. We’re aware this area is a Bohemian paradise, but we were uncomfortable and exposed while undressing and/or using the bathrooms, and felt forced into adopting the ‘lifestyle’. Maybe that’s on us, but that’s how we felt."
