"Our second time staying here and it’s always so beautiful. We love the nature, heated outdoor pools for our kiddos, complimentary yoga classes and kayaking . Just beautiful property! Only thing they didn’t have for both days we stayed was the complimentary coffee station at the lodge . They kept saying we have complimentary coffee in our rooms . "

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. The staff and management are outstanding. The location of the Manor is so tranquil and so welcoming. The room we had faced the River, which was fantastic. The dock is outstanding and access to (excellent) kayaks, paddleboards and floaties just makes accessing the beautiful River so easy. We really could not have been more pleased with our experience. The only suggestion we would make is simply to continue with the upgrades you are doing. The rooms could use a bit of a freshening-up but that is only to be expected with a building this age. So, this is offered simply for feedback not as criticism as we loved our stay and will be back. Thank youl "
"Ok so this is a place that you have to appreciate the rustic charm and love the affordability. Jay is great. Responsive. Its not crowded. Theres available parking. The property is beautiful. The river folks are friendly...well most of them anyway. Yes the rugs could use changing, and the outside chairs could use a good scrubbing. But I will be making this my go to definitely. "
"Aside from the patio furniture that was not cleaned and a bit weathered, the overall stay was great. The listing said to bring charcoal for the grill, but it wasn’t necessary because there was a propane grill and I also received an email the day of our arrival that charcoal was not allowed. I called the property manager to clarify this, but they never got back to me. Inside the cabin was very clean and cozy. "
"Highland Dell is a lovely old lodge overlooking the beautiful Russian River. The host were friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend dining at the restaurant. Our schnitzel was excellent and the house-made apple strudel is unsurpassed! I keep thinking about it. The breakfast included with the room is the best, by far, I have had at a hotel. Try the pastries. The rooms are VERY small, but nice, like in the old days when people didn't have as much stuff. Get over it. This place is special. "

"Graduation celebration with big table and cooks kitchen with good knives, large pots, etc. Good times outside by the propane fire. Nice bedrooms, private with good beds.Double oven! stovetop griddle, full-pot coffee maker or Keurig-style. 20 something’s spent time on the gym machines and at ping pong table. BBQ uneven and microwave must be unplugged to retrieve.We would happily return!"
"The place was amazing and we were so happy we stayed there. We would go back again in a heartbeat. It is a short walk away from the public Monte Rio beach and restaurants and it is a short drive away from the ocean or Santa Rosa in the other direction."
