"The stay would have been better if the staff were better prepared to accommodate western guests. The sandals were too small, the robes were for a man and woman even though it was two men staying in the room. The buffet food selection was the highlight but they food wasn’t kept hot enough and they need more salt and pepper especially for the beef.
What I am most upset about is that the property did not honor the room and beverage credit from Expedia. I will be contacting customer service to...
"Location is nice. Close proximity to the bus stop with a Family Mart right next door. 10 min bus ride to the ropeway. The rooms are big and the private onsen was the perfect way to start the morning and relax after a day outdoors. Beer on tap & you can mix your own drinks. Non-alcoholic drinks also available and refreshing."
"Excellent and luxurious hotel with a fantastic buffet breakfast every day (worth every penny). Location is amazing and the onsen (we booked the private one) was absolutely fantastic. Amazing hotel and we will be staying again!!!"
"O hotel tem coisas muito boas: quarto espaçoso e com vista muito bonita, staff atencioso e comida muito boa.
No entanto, ele não atendeu as nossas expectativas como um Ryokan tradicional: as instalações não são charmosas, nem bem acabadas."
"It’s great location by the Lake Ashi, but take little far from the Train Station, about 50 minutes by bus. The hotel is old so the room is big but the bathroom looks so dated. Breakfast is just OK., included but the view is everything!"
"Room itself - mountain view bunk bed for 2 adults and 1 child. Excellent. Breakfast options good however only 1 child menu option. Whilst fresh towels were provided daily, room cleaning was only every 3rd day. Hotel does not facilitate baggage transfers to other hotels. Based price, I would have expected room clean at least every other day and luggage transfer support services."
"The hotel was so amazing. The view is magnificent. The location is really good. The only thing that i could say that is a bit disappointing is there are stains in the sofa in the living room. Other than that everything is perfect."
