"An excellent facility; we really enjoyed our stay. But my wife would have liked some sort of place, with a mirror, where she could have applied her makeup."

"Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Will stay again when down there next."

"all food was good. cream tea was excellent. staff were lovely. we will be back."

"Excellent place to stay"

"The room was tidy and clean but a little tired in places , possibly due to a busy season. Breakfast was excellent , food in the bar was very good and prices were competitive . The ambience in the bar was good. The quiz was good fun. Excellent nights sleep . Overall very good"

"It was a wonderful, yet too brief, one night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our meal in the informal dining/pub options was nourishing and delicious. The room was clean, large, and bright. We were able to get a room facing back garden and with views. A big pot of tea and a freshly pressed coffee were very nice at breakfast. Local walks on the moor, and to the quarry & rocks and were fab."

"Fantastic location. Super friendly staff."

"Lovely hotel … breakfast was amazing … will return soon"

A member of staff did let us in and told us our room was ready and not affected by the electrical fault. They showed us to our room and that was that. The Room was ok. The room was nothing special, it was clean and tidy with some general wear...
