"Clean room elevators not really working"

"The room was very disappointing compared to the pictures it looked horribly different it seemed like I was put on un remodeled floor. The room was dirty and everything was old and used. The lobby & elevator looked up to date though. The attendant greeting at my car when I first pulled in was very delightful and welcoming! He went out of his way to accommodate me and make me feel welcomed. The front of house staff was also great!"

"Stayed at the New Yorker Hotel for Mother’s Day weekend with my 4-year-old son and 70-year-old mother, and it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I woke up to find a substantial smoking fee already charged to my credit card because their “sensor” allegedly detected smoking in our room. The problem? Nobody in our family smokes. There was no investigation, no evidence, no warning, and apparently no way to dispute it before they took the money. Management was completely...

"I had purchased 2 breakfasts for my stay for my mother. The morning of checkout, the hostess had me write my name and room number on the breakfast vouchers. It was scrutinized several times by our waiter at breakfast. Why? It was so bizarre. I paid for these myself. I have stayed once a month for a few months and this has never happened to me before. Sadly, the breakfast was not good as it used to be. It was inedible."
