"The most terrible experience we have ever had. No towels, no soap, only one pillow that was one inch deep. When we asked for towels were given 2towels size of a hand towel. That’s all we have got. They only come once a week. No one came all week to service the room. Beds lumpy and very uncomfortable. Windows filthy could hardly see through. Lift kept breaking down. Would never stay there again."
"A fairly basic but perfectly good hotel. Very well positioned in the town. Lovely views. My twin room was spacious and airy. I could have done with being able to open the window more, as I felt rather warm! It was lovely to be able to see the sea from my room and hear the waves. Really good breakfast included, cooked to order. Perfect poached eggs! Great place for a relaxed stay. Just don't expect anything too polished or modern!"

"Great local character- clearly a well loved neighborhood place with congenial, family favoured pub! Terrific (large and tasty traditional) breakfast included. One drawback was much softer bed than I am used to. There is a shared bathroom that worked fine for me but might dissuade some. The location between Penzance and Marazion provides easy bus and walking access to both places. (Note that the morning bus is longer than usual due to its routing past local schools.) Access to the beach is more...
"A bit tired. Could do with a good scrub and a coat of paint. Room ok. We only stayed a couple of nights. I would not have wanted to be there for a week. Pool and sauna very good. Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!"

"The hotel is located on the cliff and right near a beach which was good for a swim. It was about a 10min walk to the town centre and harbour. The room was good and breakfast was very nice. The staff were also quite helpful."
