"The queen room was small. Loved that the window opened. Loved that they had breakfast, a bar and could order a light dinner of pizza. Great location to our retreat at the arena in Basel. And close to trams, buses."
"Our room was spacious and quiet in a wing off of the garden. Tea and coffee were available throughout the day in the dining area. There's a couple of cozy chairs and a desk, and mini fridge. We chose to purchase the breakfast buffet and it included a variety of hot and cold choices.
The bathroom was also spacious with cabinet space, good water pressure and temperature. There was plenty of closet space, and windows opened over the garden area.

"Overall this is a very good hotel. The rooms are very clean, the staff are superb and very helpful. I especially liked them providing me with a bottle to fill with water, freely available on each floor -this was wonderful.
My only criticism, and I’m being pedantic, is that it’s not obvious where to pay for items in reception fridges, I queued at bar only to be told I had to wait behind 5 people at reception waiting to checkout (I was joined by 6 others waiting to pay for same items at bar)

"It is well within walking distance of all museums. Clean and tidy. No air conditioning but a nice fan in our room and with the windows open at night was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet booking was money well spent. Staff is helpful and they offer free public transport anywhere in the city as well as a 25% discount coupon for all museums."
"The staff were all soooooo friendly, kind and helpful and went beyond and above to make our 34th wedding anniversary celebration wonderful and memorable! Ben and Maram were especially helpful with a wealth of information about sites, things to do, sharing their knowledge and experiences. Ben even made wonderful dinner reservations for us at an excellent Italian Rest. Loved the washer and dryer availsble, location back and forth to Basel was quick busy pick up by hotel and about 4 to 5 stops...
"Close to trams and busses, which are free using the included Basel Card; staff will keep your luggage if you arrive before check in, so you can go start sightseeing and come back later to check in. Staff very helpful with giving directions, outbound transit and city maps. Coffee machine didn’t have the cream option right now, but made good coffee or hot water for tea. Nice balcony to eat or sip coffee. Döner, Thai, pizza and more nearby. Construction of breakfast area next door did not...
