"Good location, close walk to Main Street."

"Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel....

Do book dinner in the hotel restaurant as you will see beautiful views at night but also the food was excellent!"

"Really lovely stay at the Angus. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff are all friendly, and attentive. Spa was quite basic (pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) but still lovely to be able to go for a swim. However, the area round the pool and spa needs some maintenance as there was plaster broken off walls, missing tiles and the roof has obviously had some kind of issue. "My full experience of the Lovat Hotel and the wonderful staff made me and my partners stay so much more enjoyable. So much so we have booked a three day stay at the beginning of August. The staff were super friendly and went out of there way to make our stay that little bit more special. Can't wait to go back."

"The room was really spacious compared with other accommodation we have had in the UK. Breakfast was ok, dinner was pretty poor at the onsite restaurant. Staff were friendly. The location was good for our road trip around Scotland. A big negative for us was the noise from the floor above us, the floor board were so creaky we heard every step of the people upstairs, and the entry doors would bang closed…. No sleep in for us."

"Noise from other guests was very loud, and the sound proofing was bad, woke up with guests in the corridor at 6am."
