"Excellent - owners were lovely and accomodated my limited mobility needs. Renovation on the once delapidated property was superb. Additional shop v appealing and insight into restoration business. Great outside space (the weather was superb) v cosy lounge for residents which would be lovely. Only comment breakfast was a little on the cool side. The whole experience was wonderful and i shall definately return."

"Very good for getting on to A1. Easy for lots to do if you are interested in history and the lovely beaches.Staff friendly and helpful but not enough of them as in most places now."

"Ideal for a for short stay. Rooms are small but cosy. Got your bed, television, tea, coffee and kettle. Plenty of storage spaces: wardrobes and drawers. Ensuite bathroom (walk-in shower) as well. A few breakfast options: cereal- help yourself, toast and cooked options available. Parking is limited - they're are some free spaces several minutes walk away. Staff - couldn't fault them. I would stay here again."

"Great staff and great food & drinks at the pub. Easy parking and we were welcomed the moment we opened the door. Room was comfortable and it's very easy to get to the Holy Island from here. I would definitely recommend staying here, as I know we would again. "

"Fabulous location in the centre of Seahouses with views over the harbour. All the staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic trip. Nothing was too much trouble and although we didn’t have a dog with us, those that were there were given an equally warm welcome! (There was a dog free area of the dining room as well but all the pets were very well behaved - obviously exhausted by all those long beautiful coastal walks.) The rooms were comfortable and very warm with none of that annoying phoning down to reception to turn the heat up which seems to be the standard in large chains nowadays. We were not fully inclusive but ate in the restaurant through choice most nights as the food was freshly prepared and very good. Helen, Peter and their staff run a very efficient and friendly hotel which we will definitely visit again. "
