Just back from a lovely stay at the Black Bull Inn. Staff were friendly and welcoming it's in a lovely location for parking and amenities. We had the luxury of staying in room 14 which featured a four poster bed, the room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing thank you cant wait to visit again.

Traditional pub vibes, with friendly and welcoming pub on the ground floor and rooms on the two floors above. Rooms a little on the small side but excellent shower and outstanding value, ideally located in central Wooler

Staff were great, the room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Very quiet. No road noise. The breakfast (£10) was very good - recommend that if you’re staying here. Very small town wirh not a lot to do or see here, but we were only passing through and just needs a place to sleep for the night. This was perfect for that. Only downside was that the night we stayed, they had no staff available to open their in-house restaurant, and the other pub in town was also closed for meals so we ended up with Chinese takeaways in our room for dinner…

Lovely place. Very comfortable bed and kind staff. Shower struggled a bit with water pressure in my room but it was fine and normal for old coaching inns in my experience. Breakfast was good.

We checked in late evening, staff were friendly. Atmosphere was quiet in the bar area, locals were friendly, drinks reasonably priced. Room was clean and spacious, bathroom was modern, there are no lifts and lots of stairs, so no go if you have mobility issues. Breakfast was nice, the only gripe I have is that the bar and rooms looked dated, but I would stay again.

Visited this place on 22nd July and it was just excellent. Staff, food, amenities everything was just top notch. I was a bit nervous if the room would be nice or not but I was surprised. So every time you want to tour Northumberland National trust park and want to see beautiful hills from your room, you should book Black bull inn and yeaah I am definitely coming back with lots of friends. 😛
