"Hotel ideally positioned for beach, walking & exploring Falmouth. Hotel looks a bit tired, room carpet stained, paintwork chipped & outside area’s overgrown. But despite it’s quirkiness the hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Room very clean but housekeeping only made bed (which I could easily have done myself) & night wear just dumped on bedside table. "The staff was friendly and polite. Our double room was small and clean. However, the bed (room 29) was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. It was very soft and we could feel the springs sticking into us. We ended trying to sleep on top of the duvet. We would have asked to be moved but had travelled all day to get to Newquay and were exhausted. When reporting this to Reception the next morning we were told that all the mattresses were new!"

"The bed was very comfortable had a nice sea view and also a portable fan. Cannot comment on breakfast or dinner as eat out. Plus side there was a lift"

"Clean, nice room for a single person. My private bathroom was Cosy. The staff's were above and beyond the call of duty. They worked hard to maitain good standards. Everyone was happy with their stay that i saw. Wish I'd gone to the bar there looked fantastic the morning after a party look. I missed it. Would definitely stay again. Want a double room next time. All the rooms have private bathrooms, this is not a back packers hostel, they are families rooms."

"The amenities included a fridge, microwave and kettle. However, it would be best to grab your own bathroom amenities as there was only a handwash and what I believe to be a all-in-one bodywash in the shower."
