"The Hideaway Hotel is a wonderful place. My room was large and airy. A private patio looked out lush gardens. Breakfast overlooking the pool was great and plentiful with many choices- try the Típico it was really good. The staff were awesome and very polite and helpful. Nancy in particular was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel."

"The property is located a 2 minute walk from the beach. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and shops. None of the power outlets were working in our first room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and immediately accommodated us in the room next door. This is an older hotel with very basic necessities. Overall hotel grounds need maintenance. Especially the pool area. The grass was overgrown underneath the lounge chairs. Personally, it wasn’t for us. Booked a two night stay and ended...

I made a mistake during the booking online on expedia 2 people instead of 3 and he resolved the issue quickly and hustle free. The room was clean and secure. "So, I want to be careful when writing this review. I’m not going to slam this place and say it’s total junk. It’s not. It is also not for anyone fancy, or anyone looking to enjoy a place near Sámara, and treat it as a home base. We stayed one night, and that was it. Carlos is a wonderful man who seems to be the manager. Very sweet, and you can tell he maintains the grounds and pool. The exterior of the cabanas are lovely, the pool is lovely, as are the flowers and such. I saw the reviews before...

"Property has really gone downhill. Bathroom was dirty and falling apart, AC did not work properly and was very noisy, there was a total of 3 chairs by the pool so we could not get a chair. We left early and are trying to get a refund. "
