"Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were stunning! Food was also great but more on the expensive side. I had the burger on the menu (£18) it did come with chips and was tasty! Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC"

"Very clean"

"Great location, staff all helpful and decent breakfast. All good value- for a night. Rooms could do with some tlc, but is an old building and can’t complain."

"Wonderful experience"

"Stay was great but breakfast was poor. Hot food tasted like it had been reheated from the day before, not enjoyable"
