"Property is an actual retreat, so keep that in mind while booking. Car is almost a must, 4x4 highly recommended but not you can make it there with smaller cars (not that small). The place is very nice, property seems very new. I would definitely come again."

"A little piece of heaven. Very close to the Corcovado National Park, you can walk there. Everyday we would go on a hike, as soon as you walk out of the hotel you start seeing monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. Heck, you don't even need to leave the hotel. We had a group of scarlet macaws constantly hanging out in a tree right outside our room. And a brave little monkey paid a visit one day as well. The food prepared by Chef Coco was amazing! Everything was sourced locally and made from scratch....

"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. We were the second guests and I can tell you- this is going to be an upscale lodge so come now while the prices are still reasonable. The way...

"This is a once in a lifetime stay! The property is stunningly beautiful and located deep in the heart of what feels like one of the last "untouched" parts of coastal Costa Rica. If you want a real and authentic experience that's still safe and comfortable, I can't recommend Nereus more highly. Stuart and Jenny are AMAZING and what they've built is nothing short of an oasis.
