"We stayed to go to the cricket stadium to see Foo Fighters. Four stops on the tram from the nearby Barton Dock Road tramstation followed by a fairly short walk. We got back by 11.30pm so were able to have a drink in the bar. They needed more staff on the bar on a busy night like that. Breakfast was very good. Bed very comfortable and room on top floor was quiet. I would stay there again. "

"Starting with the positives, every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally helpful and great to deal with. The restaurant food was very good, and although the dinner menu was unimaginative, everything was beautifully cooked and good to eat. Breakfast was also lovely. However, the hotel had a bit of a tired feel overall and the room we stayed in could do with a refurb. Having said this, the beds were comfortable and the room was a good temperature. "I was booked a taxi from the hotel to take me to Wilmslow Station. I maybe wrong but i would like to know how much the taxi fare is from hotel to station. I fear the driver altered the meter reading from £8.40 to £13. Therefore, if i was ripped off then should the hotel be using such a company.I did challenge the price later that day and have since called a few days later. They are telling me the driver was correct in his pricing... i was surprised because when i mentioned it on Sunday.....

"Good room for a solo traveler, small but adequate with the essentials: bed, toilet, and shower. Not a big room but for as budget friendly as the price is, no complaints. Service staff at check in/out were exceptionally pleasant. "
