Beautifully manor house just outside of Chester with plenty of free parking. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of space to relax in the bar area as well as a terrace. Good value for money.

We booked the suite which was a beautiful room but the toilet was very dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. We arrived just before nine and wasn’t able to get any food not even bar snacks which was a bit frustrating. The changing rooms for the spa need upgrading and a deep clean but all the staff were lovely.

Overall a great hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were great and breakfast was excellent. Swimming pool was very clean, however the changing rooms need a lot of work, locker doors hanging off and even missing. Around the jacuzzi the panels were broken. Evening meals were very limited menu in my opinion and rather expensive. Overall though a great stay. Just spend a bit of cash please and fix the simple stuff.

Beautiful location and grounds. Coronation Street on in the bar and the seating made it unsociable and depressing but outside in a sunny day was nice if they had more seating . There is a lack of viable management and that shows in the response to some questions. The tv did not work and there are wires hanging out - this hotel is so close to bing great but is missing some simple touches.

Lovely stay and great staff, we had one of the suites which didn’t disappoint! The only complaints I would have is the spa jacuzzi out of use and very tough sleeping pillows!

Good facilities and really good size room. There were no spare pillows in the room (I don't want to have to ask), no toilet brush in the rest room which is fine if maid service makes a good job of cleaning the toilet; which they didn't. Beginning of mould in shower could have done with a deep clean in bathroom. No air conditioning in rooms really isn't good enough in this day and age. Also used for corporate clients/company retreats/training and they seemed a bit rowdy, need to actively manage this.

This was a last minute overnight stop. Bar meal was fine and breakfast was the usual buffet style which was regularly replenished. All staff were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking. Finding the room and navigating around the old building can be a bit of maze. Room was, clean and well equipped with a refreshing shower in the morning.
