I loved that it's an old historical hotel. The check-in process was a bit of a wait, and the room was very small, but it was exactly what I needed for my short visit and I was thrilled to be there.

The hotel was in perfect location inside hotel lovely. Food in hotel was ok but the the room was very basic didn’t look nothing like the pictures bed was like laying on concrete but otherwise it was ok

the adelphi has a pretty poor reputation but we found it good, ok parts could do with a bit of a refurb but our room was adequate and clean, the position in the city centre is perfect and we would stay there again

Location is great - we walked around the central hotel to the pier head, docks and shops etc . Our double bedroom was rather on the small size but was fine for the short visit we had. That’s the only complaint. Didn’t eat in hotel as so much choice available locally, but it looked fine. Is a lovely historic hotel.
