"Great location, however we do like a lounge and bar area to relax in after a long walk around the Spar Town. I should have read the description of the facilities, my fault."

"The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was good. Only issue was the door in the corridor slammed everytime someone went through it. Probably just needs the door closer adjusting."

"The room I was assigned was on the outside, where workmen were updating rooms, so parking was crowded and noisy. This entrance was also used by deliveries, some arriving before 6am. I would have preferred to be advised of this renovation prior to booking as I would have chosen another hotel. The room itself was fine, and the staff were friendly enough."

"Good size room, well equipped. Iron, usb wall sockets, usb charging bedside lamps. Loads of parking. Hallways and reception all well presented. EV charging works well, though expensive (75p per kw at time of writing). Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom needed some maintenance (towel rusty, extraction not good enough so bathroom damp paint peeling). Corridor doors very noisy at night, they swing and bang 2-3 times when closing. "Our stay was lovely room was just right as had all the amenities tv separate shower toilet tea coffee facilities good size comfortable king size bed electric heating internet, although place was a little tired it was well worth the money and would definitely stay again, as for stuff not liking can’t find any negatives"

"Overnight stay with my colleagues - gorgeous, traditional little place. Evening meal was exceptional (Roast Chicken) and the breakfast options were excellent. We had a slight issue at breakfast where noticed one of the cafetières didn’t seem to have any coffee mixed with the hot water - a bit unlucky when travelling with Italians! But aside from that would definitely book again without hesitation."

"La struttura è tipicamente antica come tutto nella zona ma molto caratteristica e con i camini accesi tutto ha un fascino maggiore. Il personale è stato molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze mie e di mia figlia. Ci siamo innamorate del posto e ci torneremo molto volentieri. L’unica cosa negativa è che il mercoledì e il giovedì la cucina era chiusa. A noi avrebbe fatto piacere restare a cenare nella struttura. Lunedì e martedì abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti."

"Friendly staff"

"A quirky old building with narrow winding stairs, but a handy lift too"

"Building work ongoing so views were quite interrupted, music from reception echoed in our room making it difficult to sleep"
