Comfy bed and clean however the tv didn’t work properly and the bathroom had a very weird drain smell. The hotel was okay for the price we paid but it was extremely hot and the woman on reception was not particularly helpful. An old hotel full of long corridor’s and staircases, if you’ve seen Backrooms you’ll know the vibe! Saying that we both slept fine!

The staff were very efficient. The room although a bit noisy, it was at the front of the hotel and we had the window open due to the heat, was well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities - extra sachets of coffee and milk are available at reception. Breakfast was cooked to order and was well worth the short wait. All in all we could not rate the hotel more highly

When we booked the room through Expedia it said double or twin, we requested twin beds but on arrival were given a double bed room. This room is in the annex building and was very tired looking and the carpet very dirty. The bottom of the bed did not have a cover over the box spring. The hotel was unable to accommodate us with twin beds so we had to upgrade to another room costing an extra 86 pounds. The staff was helpful in doing this . This room was slightly better than the annex room but the level of cleanliness was not up to my standards . EG: the wall behind the beds had wainscoting and each level was very dusty. There was spider webs on the insides of the windows in the room and the bathroom.Mold in the corner of the shower and the carpets need a good cleaning. The bathroom has been updated and the water pressure is great. The view is great from the room we had. The breakfast room was lovely looking although we did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

We booked two rooms and arrived early for check in. The lady was very helpful and this remained the theme for our stay. The staff are friendly and problem solving. The property is a short walk from the centra of Evesham and is over the road from the main park with the river running through it. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were on the whole excellent, clean, comfortable, large bathrooms, secure. The only issue is that there is no aircon so it is really hot in the rooms and tricky to sleep. It is a listed building so there will not be any aircon in the future. Fans are provided but they are essentially just moving hot air around. This is worse if you get a superior double because the bed is on the mezzanine with a low ceiling.

Rooms are spaciuos clean, Breakfast is freshly made on order, very presentsble and organised, location is best for Cotswold Broadway or Bourton or Stratford Upn Avon. Its next to a beautiful River and park of Evesham. Rebecca and Dawn are brilliant staff/ receptionist, not to mention there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

The hotel itself was clean, rooms and toilet room were a good size. Would have been more convenient if the rooms had little fridges in them. Bar and lounge area and the garden were nice areas to sit in. More ice at the bar would have been nicer as well.

Breakfast was excellent. The only poor thing was that, for a large, modern hotel, there was no lift for the elderly. The stairs were steep, narrow and curved with poor handrail support. It was difficult and painful to use. Parking was okay, except fot the fact that the disabled bays had lost most of the signage so that the fit and young were occupying these bays.

On the river but a very unpleasant surrounding area! The hotel needs a good overhaul! Definitely do not stay in an economy room which is what I booked online as a quick on the road one night stay which looked nice on their website! I paid to upgrade! Nice breakfast!
