"This was more like a hotel room in America meaning it was bigger. It did not have a fridge or microwave but did offer a continental breakfast. The room and bathroom was clean. We'd stay again."

"Good location, on street parking where you pay at meter but when we were there the meters were not working so got free parking. Breakfast is buffet style with reasonable choice, cooked items, bread, toaster, jams, fruit, cereals, etc. Restaurant and bar available for evening meals or drinks and lots of take away and restaurant choices within a 5 minute walk. Park opposite, shops nearby, train station not far away either. Building is old so expect some creaky floors and older style design, but...

"Stay regularly when departing from Manchester airport, modern clean and comfortable rooms, easy parking and nice pub attached, surrounding area good with plenty of shop bars and eateries around, highly recommend. "

Firstly I’d like to say that the staff were superb especially Lucy who seemed to be there every second of every day looking after us checking in, out, breakfast and dinner. Thank you so much. The rooms were clean and the beds were big snd very comfortable. Excellent location in a lovejy area with shops a 2 minute walk away and the station 5 mins away to get into central Manchester. Overall a really nice stay in a nice clean hotel."

"Perfectly clean and functional. Sofa bed for my second child wasn't up to scratch and the quality of all the mattresses was pretty poor to be honest. Also the heating was on (in June) and the room was BOILING. Man working at reception couldn't have done enough for us though. Lovely service. "

"If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building"
