"The only thing is that the rooms are really small. Book a months ahead as they have some bigger rooms. Room for “2 people” with only one bed are very very small. Other than that everything was very good and the front desk people and other staff speak very good English - and are very eager to help in any way requested. Transit metro and trains stations are very close and take you easy anywhere in Tokyo. Tokyo Central station is 1 stop by train (3 min) or 20 min walk"

"This is a great value and great location. It is walking distance to popular spots in Shibuya and Shibuya Station, Harajuku not far either. There is a Family Mart and Bic a few steps away to get any essentials. Staff was friendly. The rooms are small but we made it work (2 guest). "If you want to be in the heart of the intense Shinjuku action, this hotel is the nicest and cleanest one by far. It appears to be recently built - it almost looks out of place in the neighborhood it’s so new. The staff were very polite and accommodating and the rates were reasonable. Shinjuku can be extremely busy with nightlife activities so take that into consideration when staying in these areas."

"We enjoyed 4 nights quite stay. The coffee in room is very tasty. Loved it. Hotel provided free water, slippers, Pajamas every day. Each evening they even give out free facial masks. The hotel is right next to the train station which is super convenient. The breakfast is so so. We paid about $24 each person. The food included both western and eastern styles. Variety is fine but taste is average. Overall we will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"Staff is excellent! Friendly, polite, informative and makes you feel good. Rooms are very adequate, clean, and spacious. Love the Japanese feeling of the hotel. Morning buffet selection is top quality and always well prepared and plentiful. The onsen is the best! Temperature just right with three options of temperatures. Very clean, lots of amenities, and very relaxing after a long day of traveling. Good treat of ice cream or yogurt after the onsen. Free Late night snack of ramen was perfect...

"Bed and pillow was very comfy, at first the pillow was uncomfortable but the next day when I woke up my body felt really good. Staff at APA Ryogoku are extremely nice and helpful. I had no issues with the hotel at all. For what it is, its good for the price. Room was small yes but to me it wasn't really an issue. It was cosy and nice. The view from the sky floor is well worth the money in my opinion. The view was very good and all you can see is the lights from the building stretching as far as the eye can see during the night. The hotel also has a convenient store in the building and other amenities for people to enjoy such as a public bath, swimming pool and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. Trains are convenient too. Ryogoku is only 3 minutes away from Akihabara by train. Date - 16th June 2024"
