"It’s a beautiful place to stay! So quiet and I was surprisingly ok without a tv. The cafe is just like a Starbucks, so for a true meal you should go elsewhere but the sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The rooms are older, more cabin like than hotel but the sheets and towels were clean. We enjoyed the stay. "

"Pretty basic place. Clean. Close to important sites. Walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf ( a bit long, but doable) in China Town. Near Cable Car stop. No daily housekeeping. I would stay again if I return to SF."

"We had a problem with the tv. Problems turning it on. We did get help promptly and they fixed it however then we couldn’t turn it off. So remote needs work. Otherwise bed was comfortable, room was clean and had what we needed."
