Great hotel, good location and abundant parking. Room was neat, very basic and simple. I do wish there was more natural sunlight however that is not the hotel's fault. Staff was great. I got there at around 2:30 and they found us a room. Very helpful man behind the counter. No need to worry about parking as there is plenty. Strong AC/heater which is good for me. Some small complaints I would make is that the bed is very loud, where even turning or rolling over in your sleep can wake you up. TV was somewhat slow however not really a problem since we were mainly outside and exhausted whenever in the hotel. Overall had a great stay. It is in a great location for shopping, great freeway access and very quiet. Would definitely recommend

Hands down if you’re just looking for a place without any of the over the top expectations because the vacation you’re looking for is somewhat filled with more simplicity than I would say this is the place for you. Staff in the front was nice. Property needs updating. Beds are uncomfortable. Bunk beds couldn't be slept on because they weren't sturdy. Floor was dirty a lot of dust. Overall they need to work on their cleaning detail. Homeless do wonder around area!

Parking is okay. Room was clean and air conditioning worked fine. Just little things here and there that needed a bit of repair or attention. One of the window shutter had a broken or missing piece. Wall outlet under tv had a seperate outlet that looked like a new one that was missing drywall around it. Some other things too but overall not bad for a short stay.

Room was a bit aged, a lil dirty. Overall not too bad but I don’t ask for much. It was a bit loud in the surrounding areas in room 217, and it reeked of weed. I am not opposed to bud but damn I don’t smoke so someone must be, around us. So I am assuming people are living in the hotel. Especially in the surrounding rooms of 217. Idk if they used these rooms for Expedia only or what. There are no vending machines. Staff was very kind tho! It was fine for 1 night for the weekday we stayed, but for anything else for “Monterey” prices, especially weekends, I would pick something else.
