"We had an amazing time staying at Jasmine's house. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We didn’t spend any time in Seaside other than in the hotel. We were there for the Jurassic Park exhibit at the Monterey County fairgrounds.

Seaside is a busy little town about 2 miles from Monterey. Monterey motel rates are much higher.
