"This is an average motel close to Foxwood's with a fair price. We made last minute plans over Memorial Day Weekend so everywhere was pretty much sold out. The Hilltop Inn and Suites meet our needs for a place to stay over for one evening. It was very clean as other reviewers have reported. And we saved money."

"The staff were very kind, however the property is in need of both cleaning and updates. Our shower had mold on the ceiling and the curtain liner, the jacuzzi tub needed to be cleaned, and the room definitely had a very strong odor. We were only able to get a smoking room and the scent was extremely evident, to the point where it affected sleep and made my clothes smell that I didn't even wear. "Kidding me?? Woke up to screaming seagulls at 5am going through next doors property’s dumpsters right outside our rooms backyard. And two chairs to sit on if we wanted to watch with weeds also. Obviously this hotels manager knows about this and doesn’t give a crap about seagulls waking up travelers at 5 am and then he called me “ boss” instead of “ SiR”. What a dump!!! "This is an older hotel, so manage your expectations when booking. The stay was average overall, but the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was decent — not amazing, but enough to keep you satisfied."
