"A true gem! Rooms are on the small side but absolutely comfortable and tasteful. Newly renovated with quality materials. The bathroom was spotless, a very nice size, shower with both oversized and handheld shower heads. Climate control was great: so quiet you could not hear the AC was on! Rooms are quiet and matress so comfortble that I overslept and missed breakfast! However, they insisted on offering me some coffee or juice. Very nice staff. Free parking on premises. "This is a stunning hotel with the most beautiful gardens and views. The quirky original elevator takes you back in time.
The staff are very friendly & the breakfast was great.
There is a shuttle bus service to & from the city gates as well as the view point at Michelangelo square, which we used several times during our week long stay.
It’s a great place for people wanting to relax when not exploring the surrounding countryside. But not great for children.

Taking the bus from the hotel was easier than we thought it would be, and it was actually preferable to driving, as parking in Florence is very difficult."
