"Parking is easy - I have no idea how secure. It’s always a worry when I’m on the road. Night receptionist was great, very pleasant. Hotel was nice and clean, quiet. I do think the rooms need a bit of updating. Having nowhere near the bed to charge a phone is not great nowadays. All in all a good night though. "

"The room was fine, check in OK, parking easy enough and there's a good bath and shower. 1 downside - the toilet seat is a small size on a normal size toilet which is not easy to use and would be impossible for a larger person."

"I had to check in late, but the receptionist was very accommodating in making sure I could check in. Rooms were very nice, just wish I had more time to use the spa facilities."

"Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. Room had everything we needed including a kettle which we didn’t expect. A selection of mismatched furniture but adequate for the room. We had food on the 2 nights we stayed which was very tasty and on the second night absolutely plentiful. The first night was curry night and we ordered 2 curry’s. Waited for at least half an hour to it and when it arrived although very nice, the portion size was small. We didn’t complain as we were pleased with the flavour and everyone we saw had the same sized portion. It was just a bit surprising as the following night the portion was really good. That was our only gripe with our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay although we had things to do in the area so didn’t stay in the pub very much while in the area. "

"Small car park, clean room but very dated. Uncomfortable bed - very springy and well used!! Noisy late into night from pub below. Lovely lady booked us in on Friday but bar man not very friendly. Breakfast not included in price"
