"This is a beautiful house that absolutely matches the photos displayed in the property description. In actuality, the views are even more stunning in person than online. The house was quite sufficient for me, my wife, 3 teenagers ranging from 14 to 19, and my parents. The space was cozy and warm, with stunning water and mountain views of Orcas Island from both floors. The kitchen and dining area came in quite handy for breakfasts and coffee. We all were able to go tidepooling right in front of the property, and saw the full moon rise above the mountains. We were able to see bald eagles fly by, seals poke their heads out of the water, herons catch fish, and of course, saw lots of seastars, crabs, small fish, and other wildlife. The guests who stayed just before us apparently saw orcas swim by!The beds were quite comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and sufficient. The wifi was a bit slow, but perhaps that isn't all that bad when we should be immersed in nature on majestic display just outside.The location is perfectly situated within close proximity to Eastsound and the ferry terminal, but far enough away and secluded you really do feel like you have escaped from civilization. There was excellent support from property management as well. A suggestion for future guests - while there was 1 extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom we ended up needing some more, which we purchased at the market in Eastsound.All in all, this is a fabulous home away from home!"

"We had a great stay here with our group of six! The house was the perfect home base for exploring Orcas Island. It was only a few minutes from the ferry and town, but it still felt like you were tucked away in the middle of the forest. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We loved sitting outside, enjoying the trees, and just taking in how quiet everything was. The house had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and was comfortable and well-equipped for our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"We've been here several times and always enjoy our time here. It's very peaceful and idyllic. The beds are comfortable. The kids love kayaking in the pond. We had several pleasant meals at the outdoor table next to the beautiful garden. We'll be back!"

"WE HAD THE BEST TIME ON ORCAS ISLAND AND AT THE CABIN! We relaxed in the sun on the chairs outside every single day. We explored, hiked,we grilled went to the driving range, went kayaking, and got up really early to leave barely making the ferry (that was our fault). The cabin is in the perfect location. It is so peaceful, so beautiful, we'll be back. Kristen was very responsive and an amazing host. The cabin is clean, comfy, and a great place for home base while on the island!"

"The place was beautiful, and the view from the room was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, but it was only a queen, even though the room was large enough for a king-size bed. The balcony was perfect for sitting outside and just relaxing, watching the boats in the harbor. The one thing we did not like was the super small shower; it was very cramped, and it was the only downside for me. Although the rooms are above a restaurant, you get no breakfast at all. No pastries, nothing. There is a keric, microwave, and fridge, so you could bring things if you wish. We did that, and we also just drove into Eastsound and had breakfast there."
